The People Behind Venetian Guide
Behind every route are real people with a name, a licence and a reputation — not an anonymous call centre. Here is who we are.
The founder
Evgeny D. — founder, historian and specialist art guide. For Evgeny, Venice isn’t a map but a library. He has been in Italy for more than twenty years and guides the city and its lagoon as a licensed guide: from the Doge’s Palace and St Mark’s Basilica to private palazzi, closed collections and venues open to only a few. He personally shapes the logic of the day and matches the right expert to your brief — art and the Biennale, Venice from the water, architecture or a route for the whole family.

The team
Alongside the founder are local experts: art historians, curators, collection keepers, architects, master artisans. For each brief we choose the person who knows not only the facts but the context — how the true voice of a city sounds, and how to bring you to where it speaks to you alone. We don’t hand you to a "random guide": the expert is assigned to your scenario, and it’s the brand as a whole that answers for the result, not a single person.
