The Complete Venice Biennale: Arsenale and Giardini over 2 Days
Biennale 2026

The Arsenale and the Giardini, each on its own day, without the rush

LA BIENNALE — FULL IMMERSION OVER TWO DAYS

Duration
2 days, 3–4 hours each
Price
from €2190
Format
Two-day programme

The Biennale is two large venues, and the honest way to see them is one at a time. The Arsenale and the Giardini together are hundreds of works across dozens of countries; trying to take both in a single day ends in fatigue by four o'clock and the sense that nothing was really seen. We split them across two days: the Arsenale first, the Giardini second, each in full, privately. Not "more for the sake of more" — simply the only way to walk the whole Biennale and enjoy it rather than tick it off.

Your privileges

  • Arsenale day the main curated show and a chosen pavilion selection — around four hours, no rush.
  • Giardini day the central exhibition, the national pavilions and the park's architecture — another four hours or so.
  • Each venue in full two calm half-days instead of one exhausting marathon.
  • Room to go deeper side-projects (Fondazione Prada, the Pinault Collection, the Abramović show) can be added to either day.
I can spot the people trying to do the Arsenale and the Giardini in one day by the look on their faces at four o'clock. The Biennale is a marathon, not a sprint. Two days is about pleasure — and about talking, by the second evening, about the work rather than your aching feet.

Frequently asked

Why not in one day?

Two venues can't be covered in a day without losing quality — attention and enjoyment both fade by the end. So we split them on principle.

How do tickets work?

Biennale tickets are paid separately; we'll advise the most efficient option for visiting both venues.

Can we add side-projects?

Yes, to either day — Fondazione Prada, the Pinault Collection or the Abramović show, as an option.
