A Riva isn't just a boat but a symbol of the Italian dolce vita: mahogany, chrome, twin engines and a silhouette you can't mistake. Film stars of the 1960s Riviera rode boats like this, and today it's the most striking way to see the Venetian lagoon. Four hours across the northern lagoon on a legendary Riva — islands, wine and open water, but with the level of style the boat was made for.

In short

  • The northern lagoon on a legendary Riva — an icon of Italian design, mahogany and chrome.
  • Four hours: Murano, the Venissa vineyard, Torcello and the wild part of the lagoon.
  • The most striking and premium format — for a special occasion, a photo shoot, an anniversary.
  • A boat for five; the price is for the whole boat. On request, our guide aboard.

About the boat

Our Riva is a restored classic from an age when design was an art, not only a function. Mahogany, chrome, leather and twin engines — a small-series model, forerunner of the famed Aquarama. There are only a handful in the world, and to ride one across the Venetian lagoon is an experience remembered for years.

The programme

  • Murano — glass. The furnace and the master's work; we unpack how to tell real Murano glass.
  • Mazzorbo — wine. The Venissa vineyard in the lagoon: optionally a tasting of local wine.
  • Torcello — mosaics. The Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta with Byzantine mosaics of the 11th–12th centuries, the quiet of an ancient island.
  • The wild lagoon. Sant'Erasmo from the water, Vignole with flamingos, the nature of Certosa — all from the deck of a Riva.

Boat and guide

The Riva is the boat for this route — no need to change it (other boats are in our fleet for other routes). As standard, the skipper, water, prosecco and wine are aboard. On request we add our licensed art-historian guide.

What's included

  • Water, prosecco and wine aboard, snacks
  • A northern-lagoon route with a visit to a glass manufactory

For what occasion

  • An anniversary, a honeymoon, a proposal — a Riva turns a cruise into an event.
  • A 1960s-style photo shoot — mahogany and chrome against the lagoon do the work themselves.
  • When what matters is not only the lagoon but what you cross it in.
